After earning many degrees and working in many capacities and settings, I decided to satisfy my six year-old self’s most noble goal by writing creatively.
My short stories appear in a variety of magazines including Persimmon Tree and MockingOwl Roost, and anthologies including ones published by Chicago Story Press and Pure Slush. I continue to polish the “final” version of my historical murder mystery, Murder at St. Mark’s, set in pre-Civil War New York.
I reside with my husband, Rich, and our rescue hound, Murray, in Riverdale (the Bronx), on the Hudson River, and Red Hook, Hudson Valley, NY. We previously resided in Hoboken, NJ, also on the Hudson River. Without intending it, the Hudson has been a continuous part of the landscape of my adult life. And I’ve often been around water while traveling.
